Shooting film for the rest of my life
My cameras are tools, and my belt holds 10-15 of them at any given wedding to help me capture that ‘Nellie’ vibe.
I've got Polaroids and Holgas and medium format cameras and 35mm cameras. I've got manual cameras and cameras I can toss at guests so they can snap their own drunk candids on the dance floor.
I could go on, but I’ll leave it at that. My point? The way I use these film cameras to tell the story of the day is so precious to me. And I'm really proud of that.
My approach
Wanna know more?
Since most of my work is destination based, I've only repeated a venue once!
I’ve traveled the world with my cameras. including switzerland, ireland, india, new zealand... and don’t plan on stopping.
My favorite thing to photograph outside of weddings? My daughter and my dog! Through rarely in the same frame.
This year you’ll find me in Nairobi, kenya and brisbane, australia
I've made some really incredible images…And I know my best is yet to come.
If my business was a store, it would be a booth in an antique mall selling one of a kind trinkets & treasures.

"I didn't expect to feel as excited as I am to start my full-fledged journey into film as I am. I expected to feel very overwhelmed, however the way you taught it and the resources you provided made it so easy to retain information."
— Kellie B
When she reviewed my portfolio, I felt truly seen in my brand and what I wanted to create with future clients. Nellie’s mind is incredibly sharp and creative, and she manages to be kind
and supportive at the same time."
